EN| The Arab Council for Academic Exchange, located at Palestine Ahliya University, held a virtual orientation workshop titled ‘The Arab Council for Academic Exchange and Its Services’ via the Zoom platform, with a distinguished delegation of representatives from universities and higher-education institutions across the Arab world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This workshop was organized as part of the Council\u2019s ongoing efforts to strengthen Arab academic cooperation and integration by establishing a specialized online platform to facilitate communication and coordination among universities and to provide a comprehensive database of faculty members and their areas of specialization. The Council also seeks to create new opportunities for research collaboration and exchange among Arab scholars and students, thereby enhancing the quality of both education and scientific research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Ahmad Abdo, Director of the Arab Council for Academic Exchange, delivered a speech in which he emphasized the importance of promoting Arab academic integration, highlighting the Council\u2019s pivotal role in facilitating both academic and research exchanges and in advancing the Arab educational environment through modern, cutting-edge technological tools. He also conveyed the greetings of Prof. Imad Al-Zeer, President of the Arab Council for Academic Exchange and President of Palestine Ahliya University, who commended efforts of the team organizing the workshop and expressed his gratitude to all participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Muhannad Rizq, Academic Exchange Coordinator at the Council, delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting the Council\u2019s key programs and services. These included various models of academic exchange (in-person, virtual, and joint), opportunities for research collaboration and the exchange of expertise among academics, as well as the procedures for joining the Council\u2019s membership\u2014whether as institutions (universities) or individuals (academics, administrators, and researchers).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presentation also included a detailed explanation of the steps required to initiate academic exchanges through the Council\u2019s digital platform, as well as the mechanisms for fostering effective networking among universities and academics, with the aim of enhancing academic and research performance across the Arab world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In conclusion, the floor was opened for discussion and contributions, during which the participants conveyed their profound appreciation for this pioneering initiative, emphasizing the crucial role of the Council in strengthening academic ties among Arab educational institutions.
